About me
Hi! My name is Maddy, and I am a Board Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) with a Master of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health. My clinical foundation includes a one-year residency at Dr. Kara Fitzgerald’s clinic, followed by experience working along side a physician, where I specialized in applying advanced lab testing, personalized protocols, and root-cause approaches to complex cases.
My work is formed not only by clinical training, but also by personal experience with gut and hormone health. These experiences deepened my understanding of what it means to be both the practitioner and the patient when it comes to navigating symptoms, seeking answers, and learning to support the body in an individualized manner. Learning to advocate for myself as a patient has made me a more empathetic and effective nutritionist. I understand what it feels like to be dismissed or to go without real answers, which is why I am deeply committed to helping clients feel heard and getting to the root of their concerns.

My Approach
My practice is grounded in evidence-based, personalized nutrition care with a focus on gut and hormone health. I work primarily with adolescents and women in their reproductive years, empowering them with the knowledge and tools to make informed, confident decisions about their health. In a world flooded with conflicting health advice and minimal formal education around nutrition, many individuals are left confused or overwhelmed, whereas, my approach and responsibility is designed to bridge that gap.
Personalized care matters because health is not one-size-fits-all. Each person’s unique biology, environment, and lifestyle affect how their body responds to food and stress. By taking the time to understand the full picture, I can help clients navigate chronic gastrointestinal concerns, hormonal imbalances, and the anxiety that often stems from trying to follow generalized nutrition rules.
Who I Work With
If you are experiencing these symptoms, you are not alone…
I work with adolescent girls and women in their reproductive years who find themselves stuck in the “in-between” or transitional life periods, where they are not sick enough for a diagnosis, but far from feeling well. My clients are often navigating key life transitions like puberty, early adulthood, coming off birth control, preparing for pregnancy or newly postpartum, who are all seeking answers that go deeper than basic labs or generic advice. Many people experience symptoms that feel confusing or dismissed, not realizing they may stem from underlying gut or hormonal issues. On top of that, the nonstop stream of health advice online often leaves them feeling even more overwhelmed, and unsure where to start or who to trust. These symptoms consist of: bloating (even after eating healthy foods), gas, constipation, diarrhea, food sensitivities or intolerances, reflux, and irregular bowel movements. Others experience fatigue after meals, nausea, unwanted hair growth, hair thinning, acne, irregular or painful periods, difficulty losing weight, low libido, poor sleep, and early signs of PCOS. For teens and young adults, these symptoms often come with added challenges, such as trouble concentrating in school due to fatigue, difficulty keeping up in sports or activities, confusion around what and how to eat, or anxiety around body changes and social pressures.
What these clients have in common is a desire to understand why these symptoms are happening and to feel heard in a system that often overlooks early warning signs. Whether you are a teen just starting your health journey or a woman trying to reconnect with your body after years of feeling off, I provide personalized care that bridges the gap between conventional medicine and preventative wellness. My goal is to help you feel empowered, not overwhelmed, and to guide you with education, potential testing if needed, and sustainable strategies that support you for the long term. My approach is built to support you during these transitional years - well before things spiral into long-term issues.
